New information on the Sasquatch Summit

Well, I know the media all got on board with the guy in the suit trotting across the road in North Carolina. Ugh! sorry, we could not be distracted.Everything is looking great for the Sasquatch Summit. If you are reading this for information on the event, scroll down a few posts (or more).We have a more detailed agenda and a press release. I'll post those now.Note on the Press Release: It is more to generate an article about the event and John Green - not to draw more people to the event as we are a few people away from capacity at the Tribute Banquet. Here interviewing Albert Ostman in the late 1950s.)PRESS RELEASE:“SASQUATCH SUMMIT – A TRIBUTE TO JOHN GREEN” APRIL 8 – 10, 2011 IN HARRISON HOT SPRINGS, BC Sasquatch will be back on the shores of Harrison Lake this April as attendees from all over the world gather in honor of a local sasquatch author and researcher. For over 54 years Harrison Hot Springs resident John Green has been investigating the sasquatch subject, collecting evidence and eyewitness reports that number in the thousands. He has authored books on the sasquatch that are regarded as some of the best information available. This spring many of the top names in sasquatch/bigfoot research are coming together to honor his lifetime pursuit and dedication to the issue.The Sasquatch Summit is taking place in Harrison Hot Springs on April 8-10, 2011. This unique event will combine informational lectures on the sasquatch with a tribute banquet to John Green and will take place at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort and Spa. There will be displays of sasquatch evidence such as footprint casts, possible hair samples and images from the famous Patterson-Gimlin film. Author Christopher L. Murphy will provide displays from his 2005 “Meet the Sasquatch” Vancouver Museum exhibit. The British Columbia Scientific Cryptozoology Club (BCSCC), the International Museum of Cryptozoology and other bigfoot research organizations will be present in support of the conference. The Sasquatch Summit will culminate with a tribute banquet to John Green.
