Important information on the Sasquatch Summit
Hello Friends! We're looking forward to seeing you in 5 weeks and hope all is well with you and yours. We are very excited for the Tribute to John Green as we work on finalizing the agenda, the commemorative program and other organizational aspects of the event. For now, here are some VERY IMPORTANT DEADLINES. Please try and read through this (another typical 700 word email from Tom) - the most important deadline is March 9th - the last day you can book rooms at the resort at our special group rate. That was a clause in our contract. We'll try and extend it, but the best advice I'd have is BOOK THE ROOM - you can always cancel at no cost until 3 days prior to arrival. This is certainly going to be an historic weekend. THANK YOU ALL for being a part of it, helping where you can and committing the time, effort and expense to be there! Like we keep reminding ourselves when things get a little hectic, "this is for John!" take care, Tom 925-734-0799 NEW website - current information here: www.johngreensasquatchsummit.com
TUESDAY, MARCH 8 - Our contract requires us to pay for 100 banquet dinners by March 9th. We are able to add banquet reservations until April 2nd but will only do so upon receipt of payment. If you have not submitted your payment yet, please do so ASAP. OR email us and let us know when we might expect payment. THANK YOU! (PAYMENT INFORMATION BELOW)
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 9 – Our group discount room rates must be reserved by March 9th. (see note above) As we get closer to the event date the Resort requests rooms back from our ‘reserved block’ then they put the room rates back up to regular prices. Remember to ask for the ‘Sasquatch Summit’ group rate. Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa Reservations: (604) 796-2244 Toll-free 1-800 663-2266 (PRESS 2 for Group Reservations)
FRIDAY, MARCH 4 – Last chance for colour t-shirts! Falling Rock Productions of Pocatello, Idaho (owned and operated by bigfoot researcher Brandon Tennant) will be producing the commemorative t-shirts. Shirts are $22. Follow the link below and move the cursor over the color boxes to see the names of each shade. We can take special colour orders until Friday morning (March 4nd) at 11 a.m. Pacific. After that, colour choices will be black, white or grey. Pre-ordering and pre-payment is encouraged and will guarantee your size will be available; there will be a very limited number of t-shirts in limited sizes at the event.
SPONSORS - We are organizing this tribute to John Green on a not-for-profit basis. The cost of your ticket covers the tribute dinner ($55) and conference room rental. Hosting our speakers, travel expenses and event costs (printing, nametags, audio visual rental, etc.) will exceed ticket revenues. If you would like to help make this event a success, we are gratefully accepting donations! Your name will be printed in the commemorative program and you will receive a public thank you at the tribute banquet. (Donations can also be made anonymously) Sponsorship Levels: Sasquatch Summit Sponsor - $20 to $50 Sasquatch Summit Benefactor - $50 - $100 Friend of the Sasquatch! - $100 and up
RIDE SHARING: This is a great opportunity to get to know other bigfoot enthusiasts better! Two of our speakers and one VIP Guest will be seeking rides from Seattle International and Bellingham Airports in Washington. There are also a few out of state attendees seeking to make arrangements for rides to Harrison Hot Springs from the Seattle airport as well. Thank you in advance if you are willing to share the trip – and share the cost of the trip, too! Normally we wouldn’t encourage you to pick up hitchhikers, but this IS for John Green! Please email Tom Yamarone - tyamarone@pacbell.net . THANK YOU! Keep checking the website for updates. We are looking forward to seeing you in April! ------ IMPORTANT NOTE on PASSPORTS or PASSPORT CARDS ----
United States residents, you NEED one to cross into Canada and then return to the U.S. They take 4 weeks to process. Passports cost $135 these days. Passport Cards are half the price or less.

Also, I've received word that Washington residents have an Enhanced Driver's License option - instead of a passport or passport card.

Hello friends of John Green,
We are able to book rooms at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa now! Information is posted below.
Please let me know if you need any other information.
Be glad to assist you.
I have added the t-shirt pre-order option as well if you want to add that to your payments. We will only take pre-orders but you can make that later if you wish. So, you can pre-order and pay at the event, too.
The event is really taking shape.
I'll try to keep my blog at www.bigfootsongs.com updated with information. One big note: Christopher Murphy has kindly agreed to set up his "Meet the Sasquatch" museum display in an adjoining room at the conference! And we will have original footprint casts from the "early years" on display as well.
